Charlotte is Climate Salad’s Ecosystem Director, Australia’s leading climate tech network. She supports these startups to thrive and reach their global potential through partnerships, investment, and strategy development.

Carbonz is a developer and seller of carbon and biodiversity credits founded on the basis that carbon credits generally lack transparency, efficacy, and accessibility. Carbonz allows buyers to feel confident with their purchases through a transparent and auditable process, and direct impact to help support biodiversity and native reforestation.

We are excited to announce that we started our second Accelerator program in Australia in mid-April! Our inspirational cohort this year is Australian Parents for Climate Action, the State Clean Electricity Transition Tracker India, Surfers for Climate, and Wildlife.ai. They are a fabulous mix of like-minded community not-for-profit organisations and projects, determined to strengthen ways to slow climate warming and protect the planet.

We are excited to interview the Executive Director of the Dolphin Research Institute (DRI), Jeff Weir! DRI was founded in 1991 by a passionate group of community members and marine scientists who were concerned about the implications of human disturbance on local dolphin populations. It has grown into a leading not-for-profit conservation and research organisation that actively engages the community in environmental sustainability. 

For this month’s Founders Series, we interviewed Nick Stamatiou, Founder of Whole Green Foods. Whole. has created a proprietary technology that enables cost-effective and large-scale production of plant-based products, using produce that would otherwise be wasted, while maintaining the nutritional value of the original ingredients.

We are beyond excited to have Amy Carter-James join us as a mentor this year! In 2020, Amy co-founded Raaise, a platform that offers climate startups the tools and resources they need to raise capital and scale their impact. She’s also the co-host of Startups Will Save Us and oversees the Nema Foundation, a charity that supports displaced women and children in Mozambique.
